The Role: Product Manager, InPlay Betting

As a Product Manager for the betting cluster, you'll work closely with the product director and delivery teams to translate high-level roadmaps into work items.

Your responsibilities will cover both strategic and tactical aspects of product management. You'll work with the delivery team during planning and throughout product delivery, ensuring all aspects have been accounted for.

Main Responsibilities:

The What (Strategic):

  • Ensure your team and stakeholders are fully invested in shaping the product vision, goals, and strategy for the next program increment.
  • Work with the Product Director to produce the product vision, roadmap, and identify opportunities.
  • Translate product vision and roadmap into detailed work items in preparation for quarterly planning.
  • Maintain strong links to key stakeholders across technical, commercial, support, marketing, and operations.
  • Articulate vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the current and next quarter.

The How (Tactical):

  • Support the operational running of the product on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage the release to customers and go-to-market strategy.
  • Define epics with comprehensive acceptance criteria, interacting with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to verify work is correctly specified.
  • Verify that epics are completed to the expectation set out in the acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the Delivery Lead to ensure alignment on all team and product matters.
  • Produce relevant documentation to support product awareness and technical build.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in product management in the online sports betting or gaming industry.
  • 3+ years' experience in a product management role.
  • Proven experience in developing a product strategy and effectively managing roadmaps.
  • Experience with software product development methodologies, mainly focused on agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Deep experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a practical product roadmap.
  • Strong background in BI and/or Analytics required; experience working on data-oriented products preferred.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Passionate about working in the betting industry.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Team leadership.
  • Highly collaborative nature.
