Opportunity Summary

This is a unique opportunity to lead the technical delivery of engineering projects, focusing on managing a team for a large installation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in subsea/submarine cabling projects, with a focus on cable lay, subsea construction, and telecommunications installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement a range of engineering challenges offshore, including termination and testing, fibre optic work, inter-array cable installations, trenching, and dredging works.
  • Financial planning, producing engineering drawings, and writing procedures.
  • Liaising with third-party personnel, conducting data mining, and performing trenching performance analysis.
  • Overseeing subsea operations while ensuring continuous improvement and capturing lessons learned for future projects.

Benefits

  • An estimated salary of £80,000 basic salary per annum, depending on your level of submarine cabling project experience.
  • An additional £135 per day for working offshore.
  • 45p per mile for mileage when travelling.
  • Flexibility to work from home when not offshore, with occasional visits to company offices across the UK.
