We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology/Sociology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of abilities and needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individualized support to students with SEND in Psychology and Sociology subjects, adapting teaching materials and strategies to meet their unique needs.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment, promoting student progress and development.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring their educational and personal goals are met.
  4. Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure students receive the best possible education.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, with a strong understanding of SEND principles and practices.
  2. Experience or knowledge in working with students with ASC, PMLD, and SLD, or a willingness to learn and upskill in this area.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  4. Strong patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
