Job Opportunity: HGV Class 1 Driver

Talstaff Recruitment is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for making timely deliveries to various nationwide locations, including stores, depots, and RDCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to strict time schedules
  • Work flexible AM or PM shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
  • Operate curtain siders and palletised stock, with limited use of box trailers and tail lifts
  • Ensure compliance with driver hours and regulations
  • Hold a valid C+E UK driving licence and UK DCPC
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rates: £16.81ph (AM), £19.26ph (PM), £20.89ph (Saturday), £25.04ph (Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Weekly pay
  • Full uniform provided after qualifying period
  • Regular ongoing work
