Job Title: Class 1 Wet Waste Tanker Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Wet Waste Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering liquid sludge within the South West region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collection and delivery of liquid sludge
  • Planning routes on a day-to-day basis
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing a high level of customer service
  • Attending regular training sessions
Requirements:
  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous, but full training will be given
  • Excellent organisation skills and use to working to deadlines
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the local area

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, start times between 15:00hrs - 17:00hrs, including 1 in 3 Saturdays
