We're looking for a skilled Auto Technician to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on customers' vehicles in our car park, delivering market-leading standards of service and helping us wow every customer.

You'll be a practical problem solver with a knack for working quickly and efficiently, and have experience of fitting and delivering expert vehicle fitting services across car parts and technology.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience of car parts fitting, including completing basic car maintenance such as bulbs, blades, batteries;
  • Experience of sharing expertise with others;
  • Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or automotive based environment;
  • A proactive approach to helping customers;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
