Job Title: Aftersales Applications Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at the Harry James Group. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our sales and delivery teams in the Power Conversion Systems (PCS) area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Product Management and Hardware Engineering to provide technical expertise and support to sales and delivery teams.
  2. Develop and maintain product technical documentation, including application notes and product manuals.
  3. Provide customer feedback and market requirements to the Product Management organization for further product development and portfolio management.
  4. Assist the Delivery team with inspections, troubleshooting, and other expert tasks at suppliers and in the field.
  5. Support the sales and proposals teams with technical information and expertise.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the Energy Storage or Renewable Energy field.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
