Job Title: Safety Management Specialist

Location: Mansfield or London office (Hybrid working)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Safety Management Specialist to join our team at Magentus | EMEA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the assurance of safety related health IT software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all product safety related risks are formally documented, risk assessed, and mitigated.
  • Review and monitor risks, and ensure mitigation actions are managed appropriately.
  • Manage and review the clinical risk procedure, and ensure policy is up to date.
  • Liaise with Learning and Dev to ensure staff have sufficient training pertinent to their role.
  • Lead the Clinical Advisory Group (CAG) for Magentus EMEA.
  • Attend Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to advise on triage of clinical risks.
  • Sign-off and monitor mitigation of Digital Clinical risks.
  • Ensure up to date hazard log and regular risk assessment review.
  • Ensure adequate training in clinical risk management for team members.
  • Assess potential hazards, implement clinical risk analysis, evaluation, and control.
  • Collaborate with product teams to maintain ongoing compliance with clinical safety standards.
  • Write and update Clinical Safety Case Reports/Safety Cases and Hazard registers.
  • Review and input on Clinical Safety cases written by Team members.
  • Review the Safety Management process document with the Clinical Advisory Group.
  • Chair Monthly incident meetings with Problem Manager, 3rd Line support.
  • Oversight of Incident management and Hazard assessments/Jira Clinical Safety Service tickets.
  • Provide Clinical Safety documentation to customers via the Product Manager.

Requirements:

A relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in IT healthcare/clinical will be highly regarded. Previous clinical experience and expertise in a clinical risk assessment as part of a Clinical safety function for DCB0129/DCB0160 within the Healthcare Software Industry.
