About the Role:

The Housekeeping Team is a vital part of maintaining a clean and safe environment within the hospital. As an Evening Theatre Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the theatre department is prepared for the next day's procedures. This includes cleaning and disinfecting equipment, restocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional housekeeping services to the theatre department, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces
  • Restock supplies and maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as required
