About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation and Automation Specialist to join our team at United Living. As a key member of our multi-skilled and mobile site team, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, testing, and sign-off of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation and testing work on client sites across the region, working away from home and staying overnight as required.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, specifying job requirements and parts/equipment/materials needed, and compiling survey reports for quotation purposes.
  • Inspect, survey, identify faults, carry out works, and test electrical systems, ensuring compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
  • Complete required paperwork for each project and compile reports to demonstrate installation and testing work has been carried out successfully, accurately, and timely.
  • Utilize design drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects, ensuring the quality of work on site is completed right first time and to company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's policies, procedures, and work instructions, including commitment to working with the Company to achieve its OH&S, environmental, and quality objectives, and using correct Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
Requirements
  • Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces in industrial environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow risk assessments and method statements.
