Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Service Support Associate to join our team at 100 Princes Street, Edinburgh. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's culinary services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Head Chef. The successful candidate will work on a 4-day on, 4-day off schedule, with shifts from 8am to 8pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the kitchen team in preparing and cleaning kitchen areas before, during, and after service.
  • Operate pot-washing machinery to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by washing dishes, flatware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen vessels, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
  • Provide assistance to chefs and servers as needed.
  • Monitor and manage cleaning inventory levels.
  • Load and unload dishware.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience working in a similar capacity within a hotel or kitchen environment. You must possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
