We are seeking a skilled Senior Building Safety Professional to join our team based in Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's safety culture.

The role of Building Safety Manager (North) is crucial in implementing the company's legislative and best practice requirements in relation to health, fire, and structural safety. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continual improvement in all aspects of building safety and compliance, contributing to a positive safety culture across Native Residential.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant building safety regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports for high-rise buildings.
  • Proven track record of managing H&S within residential buildings, particularly fire safety matters relating to external walls, compartmentation, and fire doors.
  • A NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification is essential, with a Level 6 Certificate in Fire Safety for Construction/Building Safety Management being desirable.
  • Exceptional IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn internal database systems.
