Daytime Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, developing new test methods, and collaborating with other departments to optimize processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a world-class refinery with state-of-the-art facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in science, excellent communication and organizational skills, and experience working with laboratory equipment.

• Developing and writing new test methods and procedures
• Collaborating with other departments to manage samples, test results, and quality
• Implementing and maintaining laboratory calibration systems
• Training laboratory staff in relevant areas

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of A Level or equivalent in science, with higher qualifications advantageous
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with internationally recognized Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems
• IT literacy, with expertise in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
