Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company, in their search for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their state-of-the-art facility in Market Drayton.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £54,000 per annum, with a £5,000 signing-on bonus after a probationary period. The role also includes a benefits package, including life assurance and health care cover, as well as overtime opportunities at a rate of 1.5 times the standard rate.

The Role:
  • To diagnose faults and test, repair, and maintain Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
  • Contact OEMs and other suppliers for technical support as needed and expedite parts when not available on-site.
  • Analyze trends in reoccurring faults and breakdowns and reduce downtime of current equipment.
  • Use and support departmental 5S programs for workshops and stores.
  • Develop and record all engineering activities using the Electronic Maintenance Management System.
  • All functions to be carried out in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard.
Requirements:
  • Recognized Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL.
  • Must be Multi-Skilled - ESSENTIAL.
  • Food/FMCG background - DESIRABLE.
  • OSHH/Nebosh - DESIRABLE.
