About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Solihull. As a dedicated educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, inspiring students to develop a love for literature, and fostering a stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering a range of topics including literature, language, and creative writing.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to ensure a cohesive curriculum delivery and share best practices.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, a strong passion for English, and previous experience in teaching English at secondary school level. A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning is essential, as well as a DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one through Aspire People.
