Our Court of Protection Team

Our Court of Protection team is dedicated to providing expert advice and representation to individuals who lack mental capacity. We have a proven track record of achieving the best possible results for our clients and are committed to providing a high level of service.

Main Responsibilities of the Role
  • Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications.
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures.
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with file management.
Key Skills Required
  • Demonstrate passion and experience in Court of Protection law.
  • Strong academic background with a Law degree.
  • Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor.
  • Clear understanding and application of Court of Protection law.
  • Business acumen and ability to market the Company.
  • Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance.
  • Committed team player, self-motivated and professional.
  • Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
