Role Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate in the delivery of health and safety compliance across CSG Operations activities and sites.
  • Review health and safety reports provided by site managers and upload the relevant details to monitoring dashboards.
  • Review health and safety dashboards to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide monthly reports on health and safety performance.
  • Lead health and safety investigations to identify root causes and make recommendations on corrective and preventative actions.
  • Undertake health and safety audits to assess compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the delivery of Operations and Group health and safety objectives.
  • Attend and contribute to regular health and safety management meetings.
  • Collaborate with the management team in maintaining the health and safety management system.
  • Provide bespoke risk assessments and method statements when required.
  • Assist with the production and delivery of training.
  • Keep up to date with health and safety legislation and any developments that affect the company.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of undertaking health and safety audits.
  • Experience of writing and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working methods.
  • Strong communication skills across all management levels.
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Graduate member of IOSH.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Competent in computer use, writing audits and preparing reports.
