About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to cultivate new business development opportunities across non-automotive markets such as Engineering Supplies, Industrial Distribution networks, and MRO Supplies markets. The ideal candidate will have worked within the Engineering Supplies or Industrial Distributor networks in a Senior Sales / Key Account or National Account capacity and be familiar with MRO supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the MRO Supplies sector.
  2. Cultivate new business development opportunities through targeted sales efforts and strategic partnerships.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
  4. Present innovative ideas and solutions at board level, demonstrating gravitas and ability to grab attention.
  5. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and market intelligence.
  6. Conduct online interviews and assessments to identify top talent for our clients' needs.
  7. Work closely with our exclusive recruitment partner Glen Shepherd to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in senior sales or account management roles within the MRO Supplies sector.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.

Salary & Benefits
