Job Summary

As a Financial Planning Specialist at Job Switch Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the Group Accountant in delivering expert financial guidance to senior stakeholders within the Local Authority.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Planning Specialist, where you will be responsible for creating detailed financial reports and analyses for management review. You will work closely with the Group Accountant to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Local Authority's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Group Accountant in preparing financial reports and analyses for management review.
  2. Provide high-quality financial advice and guidance to senior stakeholders within the Local Authority.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Collaborate closely with the Group Accountant to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Local Authority's objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial advisory roles or similar positions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
