Operations Director

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a well-established team and manage a key contract based near the Port of Sheerness.
In this role, you will be responsible for devising, implementing, and reviewing operational processes and procedures to meet company and customer standards.
You will also report on progress and performance against plans and budgets, ensure adequate resource allocation to meet operational demand, and promote best operational practices.
Additionally, you will develop effective working relationships with the Central Support and Technical teams to streamline operations and understand the customer's business inside out to meet and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Devise, implement, and review operational processes and procedures to meet company and customer standards.
- Report on progress and performance against plans and budgets.
- Ensure adequate resource allocation to meet operational demand.
- Promote best operational practices.
- Develop effective working relationships with the Central Support and Technical teams to streamline operations.
- Understand the customer's business inside out to meet and exceed their expectations.
We are looking for a candidate with detailed knowledge of the marine environment and experience in people management, development, and organisation.
The ideal candidate will be composed, professional, and resilient under pressure, with human resources and industrial relations experience.
