About the Role

The Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Lead to join its Exeter Home Treatment Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing clinical practice and bolstering leadership within the team.

This 12-month fixed-term/secondment role offers a unique opportunity to use your extensive skills and experience as a professional nurse to plan and deliver staff training and development programmes.

As a Clinical Practice Lead, you will work closely with the Home Treatment Team to provide intensive home treatment for individuals aged 18 and above who identify or have been identified as being in a mental health crisis.

The post holder will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards within their assigned clinical pathways/teams and guarantee that all individuals receiving care and treatment from the service do so in line with Trust strategic objectives.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need significant experience post-qualifying work, risk assessment/management, and evidence of working therapeutically with individuals. You must also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage change in a positive manner.

Additionally, you should have knowledge of key areas of professional mental health practice, specialist knowledge of mental health disorders, and application of teaching theory into practice.

Salary

The salary for this position is approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
