About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research/Insight Executive to join our Business Intelligence/Research team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work closely with stakeholders, design, analyse, and report on research projects that drive business growth for Paddy Power.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering practical insights to inform business decisions. Your expertise in project management, research methodologies, and data analysis will help us better understand customer needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer to provide actionable insights that enable informed business decisions.
  2. Project Management: Collaborate with internal partners to manage research projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  3. Data Analysis: Utilise various data sources to extract meaningful insights, leveraging statistical packages such as Q to inform business strategies.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  5. Team Collaboration: Contribute to a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge, best practices, and ideas with fellow researchers and analysts.
Requirements
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Mathematical or Numerate Background: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, with experience in research or data-driven environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel to analyse and present complex data.
  • Research Methodologies: Experience with research agencies and methodologies, including survey scripting and writing.
  • Statistical Packages: Familiarity with statistical packages such as Q, R, or SPSS.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
