Rights Management Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rights Management Data Assistant to join our team at Warner Music Group. As a key member of our Rights Management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our metadata with various collection societies' data standards.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will provide you with the chance to work with a global music company that values innovation, creativity, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Review and ensure the accuracy of asset metadata to meet 100% data standard compliance for neighbouring rights registration purposes.
- Assist with neighbouring rights claim registration and conflict resolution, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure prompt handling.
- Collaborate with the team to implement process changes around track analysis, communication flows, and metadata compliance as we transition to more affiliates and societies onboarding to RDx.
- Manage metadata adjustments within our label copy system (GCDM) to ensure proper registration of rights holder information.
- Build relationships with global Business Affairs teams to source accurate contractual neighbouring rights obligations.
- Build relationships with Warner affiliates to ensure they enter our repertoire correctly to enable accurate registration.
- Provide assistance with GCDM metadata accuracy projects, department-wide initiatives, and support work for the Rights Management and PDM UK and US teams as necessary.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills and experience in managing data. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum A-level standard education with good academic grades.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Google Suite applications and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
