Outage Coordinator

Ground Control is seeking a highly skilled Outage Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the electrical provision process for tree cutting power outages within our operational area with UK Power Networks.

• Efficiently plan and deliver a full programme of tree cutting power outages.
• Oversee and manage the tree cutting power outage programme, driving best practices and operational excellence.
• Coordinate outage teams to ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeframes, budget, and contractual commitments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful planning and execution of all outages.
• Assist in managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective delivery of electrical provisions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Participate in internal and external meetings related to programming and planning.
• Travel as necessary to support the effective delivery of outage programmes.

• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders towards a common goal.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a keen analytical mind.
• Knowledge of overhead electrical networks.
• Proficiency in IT and computer skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Full UK driving license.
