About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, prioritizing resources, and delivering workflow and revenue against plan. They will also lead continuous improvement activities, provide effective testing services, and train colleagues. The role involves working with project managers and laboratory managers to develop testing schedules, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering against KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage laboratory operations, including testing workflow and resource allocation
  • Lead continuous improvement activities to optimize laboratory environment and processes
  • Provide effective testing services to external and internal customers
  • Train and develop colleagues to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Work with project managers and laboratory managers to develop testing schedules and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced scientist who can lead our Physical Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics)
  • Proven experience in laboratory management and leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare, pension, and flexible working hours.
