Cloud Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Expert to join our team at undisclosed. As a Cloud Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for designing, planning, managing, maintaining, and supporting one or more cloud computing applications, services, and public, private, and hybrid cloud architecture platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Focus on the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement aspects of assigned platforms.
  • Tier 3 Support: Provides Tier 3 and root cause analysis support for technical issues within the support platform and services.
  • Risk Awareness: Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area, observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and risk limits specific to their role.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: Multiple expert-level cloud-based certifications such as Microsoft 365: Messaging Administrator/Teams Administrator/Security Administrator, Microsoft Azure: Administrator Expert/Security/DevOps/AI/Data Science, and those related to Solution Architect or equivalent.
  • Programming Skills: Practical experience with one or more common scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, C++, HTML).
  • Database Experience: Experience with databases platforms including SQL, NoSQL Postgre, and Mongo.
  • Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in related field.
  • Financial Experience: Familiarity or experience with financial applications, users, and teams.
