About the Role

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading best practice in health and safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the senior team to ensure robust health and safety processes are embedded in the core of the organization.
  • Act as the company's subject matter expert for all health and safety matters, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to ensure the organization is working to current best practice for health and safety.
  • Chair the Safety Committee, reporting to management on health and safety matters.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations, including OSHA and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
