Job Title: Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team at E Fundresearch. As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve monthly/quarterly NAVs and investor reporting requirements for Private Credit funds completed by third-party Fund Administrators.
  • Oversee the service functions of Fund Administrators and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile intra-month P&L and performance metrics for internal reporting.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers, including Fund Administrators, FX counterparties, Auditors, and AIFMs.
  • Interact closely with internal and external operations teams to ensure accurate portfolio data is recorded internally and externally.
  • Monitor adherence to the Funds FX hedging Policy.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with fund auditors to manage an efficient year-end reporting process.
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new funds or managed accounts as they arise.
  • Assist in investor reporting with timely query resolution.
  • Assist in Solvency II reporting in coordination with Fund Administrators.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for quarterly Advisory Board and Risk Committee meetings.
  • Maintain financial processes in line with best practice and add value where possible.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant with experience in IFRS financial reporting for investment funds.
  • Experience of Lux GAAP is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Luxembourg and Cayman private credit and private equity structures and accounting-related matters.
  • A confident, self-starter capable of dealing with senior personnel and various outsourced partners.
  • Knowledgeable in market best practice in valuation techniques, accounting policies, and work processes.
  • Able to demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and resource management skills.
  • Eager to work in a rapidly changing environment and able to implement change in their function.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement to date and articulate how this role fits into their personal career plan.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
