Financial Director

Robert Walters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic team in Nuneaton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment in the manufacturing industry and is eager to contribute to the company's significant growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all financial aspects of the business, including managing a small team, developing data management tools, and delivering process improvements.
- Develop and implement effective financial processes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Drive the business forward and hold them accountable for financial performance.
- Liaise with credit control and other back-office functions to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead in building a scalable and efficient accounting and finance function, including KPIs and SLAs.
- Participate in the group external audit process to ensure timely and effective engagement.
- Prepare and present key financial information to the business and Board.
- Monitor cash flow forecasting and working capital actively to ensure financial stability.
- Manage credit risk and drive effective decision-making at the front end.
- ACA qualified Accountant with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
- Manufacturing experience and knowledge of financial processes.
- Experience in managing a finance team and developing data management tools.
- High competence in management accounts and costing activities.
- Ability to work under own initiative and proactively solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
