Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Taunton. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-level technical advice, and leading a team of talented tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage tax compliance and build client relationships across various industry sectors.
  • Technical Advice: Provide high-level technical advice, mentor junior staff, and assist with tax planning projects.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the client portfolio, including billing, debt, and work-in-progress management.
  • Leadership: Lead client meetings, provide proactive support, and attend networking events to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CTA qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred) with strong technical tax knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and experience managing a team.
  • Portfolio Management: Proven ability to manage a portfolio and build strong client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
