Join Our Team as a Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultant

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking highly skilled and experienced paediatric anaesthesia consultants to join our team. As a leading specialist paediatric centre, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

We are looking for individuals with specialist training and experience in paediatric and neonatal anaesthesia. The successful candidates will be expected to participate in continuing professional development, undertake teaching and training, and be involved in clinical audit. The posts will involve a 10 PA fixed-term locum contract with 6 (possibly 7) clinical theatre sessions per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric anaesthesia
  • Undertake teaching and training to support the development of junior staff

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients
