**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Support Lawyer to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our legal services across the areas of Insurance and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge Management: Develop, maintain, and update our firm's legal precedents, practice notes, and templates to ensure our teams have access to the most current and comprehensive legal resources.
  • Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on complex issues, staying abreast of legal developments, trends, and changes in legislation. Provide concise and accurate legal opinions to support case strategies.
  • Document Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and update legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards. Assist in the preparation of client-facing materials.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars for lawyers and support staff.
  • Client Support: Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitches, and proposals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with partners, associates, and other legal professionals to support our firm's practice groups. Contribute to cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Solicitors with at least 5 years PQE
  • Experience in Defendant Insurance or Healthcare
  • Prior experience of Professional Support work is beneficial
