About the Role

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our audit team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Audits: Plan, supervise, and execute full end-to-end audits, ensuring timely completion and meeting agreed budgets.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain close liaison with clients, audit teams, and audit partners to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Technical Expertise: Deliver work under primary accounting frameworks, mainly FRS 102, and prepare and review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax services.
  • Team Management: Motivate and encourage team members, ensuring they meet annual chargeable hours targets and maintain annual training requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, rules, and requirements, and identify and understand client needs, offering initial solutions and communicating these to the manager/partner.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years auditing experience, including leading audits.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (primarily FRS 102) and auditing standards.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in using Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
