Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at a global leading chemical manufacturer in West Yorkshire. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring asset integrity while being heavily involved in multi-million-pound projects to grow and improve technology on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documentation, including scope statements, cost and time estimates, execution plans, and other documentation within the standard work process.
  • Reduce aspects of risk associated with scopes from initial studies and assessment tools, such as PHA and LOPA.
  • Provide internal progress/status reports, including financial tracking and progress against milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Support manufacturing, maintenance, and site management teams in identifying and prioritizing plant improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a Chemical/Engineering discipline with a view to becoming chartered if not already.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in Chemical/COMAH/High Hazard/Pharmaceutical.
