Join Our Team as a Finance Procurement Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Procurement Controller to join our team at Equity Finance Partners. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-funded, PE-backed buy and build consolidator with ambitious growth plans. You will be responsible for building financial controls and processes, implementing improved financial systems, and ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly Management Accounts and Financial KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build financial controls and processes, and implement improved financial systems and processes
  • Production of annual Consolidated Financial Statements, liaising closely with the auditors
  • Responsibility for Tax returns (VAT, CT and MTD) though supported from hub and outsourced parties
  • Ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly Management Accounts and Financial KPIs
  • Providing analysis of P&L identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Improving reporting timelines to meet the requirements of the Private Equity investors of weekly/monthly MI as required
  • Regulatory reporting
  • Responsibility for M&A transaction accounting and where required, support for acquisitions to include Due Diligence, risk identification, integration planning and implementation through to financial control post deal
Requirements

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant with some Acquisition and integration experience. You should have the ability to build a "first in class" finance function, improving the quality and timeliness of financial reporting. You should also have a desire to implement new financial systems and processes.
