Highway Design Engineer Job Description

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled Highway Design Engineer to contribute to their ongoing projects in the West Midlands. This contract role is ideal for professionals specialising in the design of highways infrastructure, including roundabouts, pavements, cycleways, and junctions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design efficient and sustainable highways infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Prepare and oversee pavement designs, guaranteeing proper implementation and quality control.
  3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth execution of both design and construction phases.
  4. Perform technical analyses and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  5. Maintain clear, accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in highway design and engineering, with expertise in designing a range of highways infrastructure.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and project management abilities.
  3. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a contract role, highly motivated with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Contract Details:

3-month rolling contract, 37-hour work week.
