Ecological Consultant Role

We are seeking a skilled Ecologist to join our team at Bouygues Construction United Kingdom. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects while prioritizing ecological considerations.

About the Position

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work closely with design teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ecological considerations into project development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ecological Management Planning: Develop and implement ecological management plans, providing pragmatic advice and support to operational teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with regulators, clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Candidates Requirements: Candidates must hold a degree or Masters level in Ecology or a related subject, with strong commercial awareness and understanding of environmental management for construction sites.

Above all, this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Degree or Masters level in Ecology or a related subject.
  • Commercial Awareness: Good level of commercial awareness and understanding of environmental management for construction sites.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CIEEM Membership: Active membership in the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
  • Industry Experience: Experience working on large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
