Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in the UK. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks, maintaining and fine-tuning the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solution, and performing daily, weekly, and monthly security checks. You will also support the wider IT team in sharing technical knowledge and security best practices.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cyber Security Incident Response: Assist with security incident management and response activities, investigating unusual behavior highlighted by SIEM, and reporting potential threats or malicious activity.
  2. SIEM Management: Maintain and fine-tune the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solution to detect and differentiate between normal and unusual system activity, and develop dashboards and reports for monitoring real-time log data.
  3. Security Checks and Compliance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly security checks, reconciliations, and compliance checks, and investigate exceptions.
  4. Team Support: Support the wider IT team in sharing technical knowledge and security best practices.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of security principles and threat analysis.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, preferably Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: £80,000 - £110,000 per year.
