Culinary Specialist

Job Overview: First Choice Rec is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Causeway Hospital. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this position is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you can expect a minimum of 28 days paid holidays (pro rata), inclusion in our company pension scheme, and full training and induction provided.

About the Job: As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking set meals, assisting with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment, and adhering to all food hygiene & safety standards. You will also follow recipes and presentation specifications, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must hold, or be willing to undertake, food hygiene training. Additionally, you should be willing to undergo an enhanced AccessNI check. Experience working as a cook would be advantageous but not essential.
