About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Fitter to join our team at Airbus Broughton, a world-renowned site for wing build production. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assembling wings for commercial aircraft, including the A320 and A330 families, as well as the cutting-edge A350XWB planes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble and install aircraft components, ensuring high-quality and precision.
  2. Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  3. Work in confined spaces or at heights, demonstrating adaptability and safety awareness.
Requirements:
  1. Completed Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship.
  2. Previous experience in similar roles, such as Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Fabricators, Welders, or Mechanical Fitters.
  3. Other accepted qualifications include Indenture, City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC, Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills Level 2, and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognized engineering field.
  4. Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  5. Openness to continuous improvement processes and innovative approaches.
  6. Knowledge and adherence to high Health and Safety standards.
