About Beavertown Brewery

We are a leading brewery with a passion for producing high-quality beers. Our state-of-the-art brewery in Ponders End is equipped with advanced automated lines that run at 30,000 cans per hour / 240 kegs per hour.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our beers are quickly and safely canned and kegged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and close production lines
  • Operate automated machinery
  • Troubleshoot production and quality issues
  • Ensure the final product meets specification
  • Perform pack integrity checks
  • Set up and conduct CIPs
  • Move pallets, packaging, and product
  • Some heavy lifting involved
  • Carry out maintenance, hygiene, and cleanliness duties
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a technical environment preferable but any experience considered
  • Experience working with and fixing technical equipment and machinery is advantageous
  • Easily able to identify issues and effectively solve them
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programmes, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong record keeping abilities
  • Able to work logically and systematically
  • The ability to focus on accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be constantly mobile and carry out physical manual tasks
  • Can do attitude with a positive outlook
