Job Title: Mathematics Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our vibrant school community in Lincoln.

Key Responsibilities:

* Clearly explain mathematical theories, principles, and applications to students at various levels.
* Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
* Create, administer, and grade tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding and progress.

Role of a Mathematics Educator:

* Mathematics educators are responsible for delivering the national curriculum for mathematics, ensuring that students are exposed to a wide range of mathematical concepts appropriate for their age and ability level.
* They plan engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. This involves selecting appropriate teaching methods, resources, and activities to help students grasp mathematical concepts.
* Mathematics educators maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment conducive to mathematical exploration and inquiry. They manage classroom behavior and promote mutual respect among students.
* Mathematics educators offer additional support to students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts. This may involve providing extra help during class, offering after-school tutoring sessions, or recommending resources for independent study.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a teacher within an educational setting.
* Original or certified copies of your degree certificates relevant to teaching science.
* Qualified Teacher Status certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
* Hold relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field.
* Are passionate about supporting the learning and development of students and making a positive difference in their lives.

Important Note: This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
