Baxter is a world-leading medical innovation company, and we're seeking a highly motivated Field Service Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Thetford, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in enhancing equipment availability, reliability, and capability at our Compounding sites, where life-saving medicines are manufactured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead problem-solving, identifying and resolving issues at the core of compounding plant and equipment.
  • Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance procedures & schedules that assure product quality aligned with Baxter Perfect Equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate the engineering activities, leading contractors, service providers, installation engineers, etc.
  • Perform administrative functions, review and write reports, and make decisions on the purchase of parts, equipment, and services.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified OR relevant qualifications i.e NVQ's/ HNC
  • Technical understanding of cleanroom plant would be desired but is not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (you will be communicating with multiple Baxter employees across multiple sites)
  • Experience of operating within maintenance and project engineering functions.
