We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Medical Protection Society. As a Capital Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering best-in-class analysis to support capital modelling and actuarial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of annual capital assessment for MPS discretionary business.
- Develop and maintain the capital model used for the annual capital assessment.
- Collaborate with actuaries across the capital and reserving function on actuarial projects.
- Ensure the quality of data used in actuarial processes is of the highest standard.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices to ensure all actuarial work is of the highest standard.
- Hold a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Have excellent Excel skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Be able to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
- Have strong communication and presentation skills.
