About the Role

We are seeking a Project Management Intern to join our team in Amazon EU. As a Project Management Intern, you will support Project Managers in one or several projects by assisting them in tracking open actions, conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights useful for decision-making, analysing processes to identify critical points and improvement opportunities, and anticipating risks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Project Managers in tracking open actions and conducting ad hoc deep dives to provide data insights.
  2. Assist in analysing processes to identify critical points and improvement opportunities.
  3. Anticipate risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  4. Support the team in recommending and executing network improvements.
  5. Work with the team to identify process improvement or standardization opportunities for the European network.
Key Learning Objectives
  1. You will have learnt key success factors to project implementation and stakeholder management in a complex and international environment.
  2. You will have developed skills to extract and manipulate large and complex datasets, and will be given insights on simulation models.
  3. You will have learnt to communicate results and status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management.

We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2025. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or similar discipline.
  • Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
  • Excellent analytical skills, preferably with advanced level in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
