Supply Chain Specialist

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 18 months to cover maternity leave. This is a varied role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Produce inventory from process sheets, varying levels of work-in-progress through to finished goods.
- Prepare daily loading lists for goods being dispatched to customers.
- Record and monitor raw material purchase prices.
- Create purchase order requests from various staff members.
- Update and maintain supplier catalogue prices.
- Enter goods receipts into the system.
- Manage monthly physical inventory takes and reconcile volumes with the system, investigating variances.
- Enter/update bill of materials in the system.
- Create new products in the system.
- Ensure correct barcoding of products/create new barcodes.
- Communicate effectively with non-financial staff members to resolve issues/queries.
Requirements:
- Organized and methodical approach to work.
- Proficient in Excel and able to analyze data.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse/production environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to link between production and accounting teams.
