Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled Design Technician / Draughtsperson to join our team on a contract basis at our customer's site in Thurso.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Length: 6 months+
  • Location: Thurso
  • Contract Type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop simple design solutions from requirements through concept design to detailed design.
  • Plan and implement standard design processes.
  • Produce output using CAD software.
  • Assist design staff in the output of designs.
  • Process designs through design authorization process for implementation.
  • Adhere to the Rolls-Royce Quality System and site process in design activities.
  • Act in accordance with the Company's policy on Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Equal Opportunities.

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent qualification and/or completed an apprenticeship in the related discipline.
  • Due to the nature of work, this role will be delivering, and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD-approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
