About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited - C26. As a key member of our Conversational Search Shopping team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our Central Data Engineering team and business stakeholders to conduct in-depth analyses and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
  • Design and implement robust and automated Business Intelligence solutions to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data models, ETL pipelines, and data visualizations to support business decision making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our Business Intelligence capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in analyzing and interpreting large datasets using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, and other data platforms.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python to process and analyze data.
  • Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and working with databases in a business environment.
