Engineering Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Support Specialist to join our team at Verto People.

About the Job

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a global engineering manufacturer, providing engineering support to customers across the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned Service and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.

This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a flexible approach to working in a field-based environment.

Job Description:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Carry out pre-planned Service and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Provide engineering support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with machine installations and commissioning as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service reports and uphold a professional standard.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar. A full UK driving license and flexible attitude towards overtime and on-call duties are also essential.

Salary and Benefits:
  • £38,000 - £43,000 per annum.
