Fleet Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Technician to join our team at Culina Asset Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles and trailers, including electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in complex systems, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Overhaul and repair electrical equipment and components, including wiring and electrical systems.
  • Operate machine tools and equipment, including welding and metalworking.
  • Prepare vehicles for Department of Transport (MOT) testing, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage parts ordering and stores, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Support team members, including Apprentice Technicians, as required.
  • Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs, maintaining accurate records.
  • Carry out regular inspections and repairs of workshop equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • HGV L3 in vehicle maintenance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Cat C+E licence highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, with a high level of productivity.
  • Must be hardworking, self-motivated, and a productive Technician.
  • Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Diagnostics skills and qualifications desirable.
  • Fleet experience and knowledge of logistics operations an advantage.
